
Apple Rose Pastry Tarts

These pretty little things are so special! Fairly easy to make and look so gorgeous.
When I meet someone very beautiful I wonder if they are a nice person too?? Can you have it all?? Well these apple roses taste just as good as they look for real, so no need to wonder!

- Cupcake Tray
- Rolling Pin
Ingredients
- 3 Red Apples
- Juice of half a lemon
Cinnamon Butter
- ½ cup softened unsalted butter (113 g)
- Plus a little extra butter for greasing pan
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- pinch of salt
Egg Wash
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp water
Sugar Topping
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Pastry
- 12 oz store Bought Puff Pastry (340 g)
- Flour for Dusting Surface
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Grease 6 cups in cupcake tray with softened butter
- Cut Apples in half and core them
- Then Lay them flat and cut super thin slices
- Mix Lemon juice with some water in a microwave safe bowl
- Add the sliced Apples and Microwave for 1 -2 minutes till soft
- Prepare cinnamon butter. Mix the softened butter, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt and set aside
- Roll out puff pastry and cut out 6 strips. 12 inches long and 2 inches wide
- Put a thin layer of prepared butter on the pastry strip
- Lay the apples on half the strip slightly over the pastry
- Fold Pastry over Half the apples
- Brush on some egg wash on folded pastry and roll up
- Pinch the end
- Put rolled up pastries in greased cupcake tray
- Bake at 375 F for 20 mins and lower oven to 350 F and bake for another 20 mins
- Slide a butter knife around pastry and take out of pan

Some helpful tips:
Take them out of the oven as soon as they are out so they do not stick
They taste Yummy with some vanilla ice cream!
